MeSoap
MeSoap is May's latest Venture. Co-founders Garth Humbert and Michael Feeley launched MeSoap as an effort to stop the 5000 daily deaths of impoverished children who perish due to the lack of soap and clean water. The two leading killers of children under 5 in developing nations are pneumonia and diarrhea. The good news is handwashing alone can prevent 47% of diarrheal deaths, 23-50% of pneumonia deaths, and can reduce water related deaths by 45%. The MeSoap model is one for one. For every bar of soap sold, we'll donate a bar to places of need to help stop the spread of bacterial disease. MeSoap is currently for sale on Facebook and on Abe's Market, the largest organic online marketplace, as well as local farmer's markets and salons in Southern California.
While Michael keeps working hard to expanding the business development, May has been spearheading the branding and design front. We conceptualized the logo, social media graphics, packaging, business cards, and banners displayed at the farmer's market. We're currently in the process of building out the website.
